Thousands of Italian protestors jeered Bush when he visited Rome during June 2004, foolishly hoping to garner Catholic votes this November - even the Pope openly criticized his human rights
policies and war in Iraq.

(instrumental intro)

Bush got booed in Rome, far away from his home.
There, they jeer what the Shrub had to say.
Now all Shrub has heard are discouraging words,
Foreign crowds who act rowdy say "nay."

Rome, Rome's in a rage.
There they jeer what the Shrub had to say.
Now all Shrub has heard are discouraging words.
Foreign crowds who act rowdy say "nay."

Bush went there despite... being told he's not bright
"Might makes right" says this blithering czar.
Rome knows he's war-crazed, at the Shrub, the Pope blazed.
For war glory, who bleeds and who scars?

Rome, Rome's in a rage.
There they jeer what the Shrub had to say.
Now all Shrub has heard are discouraging words.
Foreign crowds who act rowdy say "nay."

Like Blair, there's no cure; Bush damned by history,
'Cause he seized Iraq's oil through might.
His war is deranged; with the world he's estranged.
'Gainst Bush, all Iraq's cities will fight.

Rome, Rome's in a rage.
There they jeer what the Shrub had to say.
Now all Shrub has heard are discouraging words.
Foreign crowds who act rowdy say "nay."

Though Shrub wields war powers in this dear land of ours,
Scandals wearing down Bush and his team.
Disaster now knocks loose support from his flocks.
And he's hazed by the world as extreme.

Rome, Rome's in a rage.
There they jeer what the Shrub had to say.
Now all Shrub has heard are discouraging words.
Foreign crowds who act rowdy say "nay."
